My low cost pens are very satisfying. I can not afford high end pens. Found these low priced pens [ as described in many pen collector forums] can be quite a lot of fun. Sharing my experience with the viewer. All these reviews are based on how it feels in my hand, not much of methods etc. Any comments and question always welcome.

Sheafer look alike pen !!!
Rs. 150/- from college street ! Some details.
Compared side by side with a real Sheafer Imperial- matching dimensions, but body threads are different.
Indain Pen - Fellowship Sleek
Fellowship Sleek- this is another very good low cost student pen. As usual the material at this cost is poor. A re-make using good material will make a collector item.! Some details below.
Indian Pen- Camlin Mini
Camlin mini- for Rs 20/- [ about US cent 30] this is perhaps the cheapest fully functional pen anywhere in the world! The best part are the performance and the form factor of this pen. I would sometimes like to re-make this design using a better quality plastic /acrylic for my collection.. Here are some more details.
Indian pen - Montex Study
Montex Study-Indian student pen , priced Rs 40/- is an excellent writer. As with most other Indian student pens , this too has a high performance to price ratio. The nib and filler mechanism are very good. The plastic of the body could be perhaps only so good at this price. I really like this form factor, worth a re-make with good quality resin/ acrylic. Here are some more details. Surprize is: Rs 40 is about 70 cents, have not seen any pen in ebay selling at this price!

Rs 150 Chinese pens from College street !
These Rs 150 Chinese pens from college street are quite cheap but they write very good. These pens do not carry any brand name or number. Guess these are the unsold promo pens smuggled to India from China. The Black one is modeled after Sheafer while the steel one is close to WingSung 220 model. Fine writers at this price.!!
Vintage Pilot 57 G3 and Vintage Wing Sung 233
Bought a set of Vintage Pilot 57 G3 fountain pen and twist mechanical pencil set with original box and two Vintage Wing Sung 233's from one kind lady from Salt Lake , Kolkata. Paid Rs 1500 /- for the pilot set and Rs. 600 each for the WingSung 233's. These pens were never inked, mint condition.
From the early 1970's these pens are more than 40 years old, a fine piece of history. I remember from my childhood days, these pens were much liked by girl students in those early 70's, and being eyedropper filled , these used to hold ample ink volume to cover two long exams!!
The pilot nib had a minor looseness in the section, and this what I did !
