Clip-less pen in emerald green polyester

I made the first clip-less pen of this vacation last night.... as all clips have finished! Really speaking making the cap is easier on a clip-less pen. I am grudgingly beginning to like clip-less pen design..not sure if I would feel it to be a full bodied complete pen. Well, ... Clip less it is.
Faux stone emarald polyester blank, Jowo 6 nib unit and Jinhao converter. The section has a brass insert with the coupler threads.... will continue this system for a few pens now on, though some more time goes to machine the insert. ( Wish these were available to buy). The last photo with a WinSung 233 is for size comparison. Hope you like the design.

Some recent pens made in the last 3 weeks vacation

Good day friends. I came back on a vacation and in these three weeks or so , made these pens. Not a big volume but just only so many I could make! Hope you like these designs.

This is the first pen I made after coming back to Kolkata. Material is polyester resin, red coral faux stone. For cap a brown shade is chosen as the original cap broke apart. 154 mm long barrel max diameter 14.8. Cap max diameter 17.3 mm. Joyo 6 medium nib, Schmidt k5 converter. Slightly oversize pen but the clip fits into the shirt pocket.. Hope you like the design.

Completed this pen just now. Teal swirl acrylic in gold clip and nib. The pen had damage in the earlier 0.6 mm pitch thread, re-made the threads using clear acrylic insert rings. cap finial sits from outside on extension of the cap. Jowo 6 fine nib and Schmidt k5 converter. The clip ring is still visible, not the best fitment of clip. I like the shade of the blank, not too flashy for an acrylic blank. The cap is slightly longer in proportion to the barrel. ... Hope you like the design.
Last photo for size comparison with a Twsbi 580 diamond pen

Made this pen last night. I am making similar design conical rounded end pens for the last few attempts..... One reason for this is restriction of 8 mm ID ring clips in which only this design works! Only major difference between the last three pens is the minor variations in length and diameter.
This one is relatively slimmer of the three. Material poly resin. Jowo 6 M nib and Schmidt K5 converter.
Hope you like the design.

Date made : 5th Dec 2017

My birthday pen. Bit difficult to convey the actual shade with a phone cam. Size comparison with a Twsbi 580. Jowo 6 Nib unit and Schmidt K5 converter.
I have used a light blue polyresin section for this pen as I hd ran out of blank, does it look too odd?
Hope you like the pen in general.

Date Made : December 10 2017.

One more pen with some changes in the section design. Slender and a little longish. actually both end finials have extra solid and the length of the pen can be reduced another ten mm. What is your advice...should this pen be shorter than the present 156 mm?

Date made : December 4 2017

Made these two pens tonight. Polyester resin material. Jowo 6 medium and fine nibs, Schmidt K5 converter. Hope you like the design.

Date made : December 11 2017

Made these two pens last night. The pink one is made from a poly resin blank cast earlier by me, the green one is a poly resin blank of brand Woodshed. Jowo 6 nibs and Schmidt k5 converter in both pens.
Hope you like the designs.

That is all the pens made recently. As more pens are made I would update here. There are some vintage pens bought recently, which I would update in another post. So long friends.

Two ebonite pens made recently.

The Design came to my mind for a pair of short and stubby pens with parallel body and rounded ends. Also the cap and barrel to be flush. This is what I drew up ( first image) and these are the pens made in ebonite. Kanwrite 35 mm nib unit s used. Last photo is comparison of size with a Parker IM pen. Hope you like the designs . Welcome your comments.
