Sheafer Imperial Black : Got this well restored pen in an e-bay auction for $ 45 incl postage. there are minor marks on the barrel- will attend later. Dip test on the nib showed excellent smoothness. Will revert with a full review later. The nib has in addition regular prints , number 585 printed -do not know what that means. Need to find out from Sheafer forums later. Whenever I buy a vintage pen I try to wonder about its history, sad story is- no one tells you.
My low cost pens are very satisfying. I can not afford high end pens. Found these low priced pens [ as described in many pen collector forums] can be quite a lot of fun. Sharing my experience with the viewer. All these reviews are based on how it feels in my hand, not much of methods etc. Any comments and question always welcome.

Cracked lether finish barrel pen.
This pen was lost in transit. After much request the HongKong seller finally agreed to send another free of cost. I remember the e-bay price around $14, but do not remember the exact figure. This is a little larger than regular size, little heavy pen and fitted with a large nib [medium broad]. Will write full review later. I like the look and feel of this pen.
