Pen made by me using pen kits.

I made these pens using pen-kits. One is made from copper rod, rest from various woods I had stabilized. You will find some reviews on these pens in my earlier posts.

Convesion Job

I converted some existing pens into wooden pen, using a technique I call cladding. Some people had liked these. I guess this technique is not much encouraged by the grammar of pen-turning, nevertheless, I was very happy to do this. Shown the original pens at the sides.

Some of My Semi-finished pens!!

Few days back I shared these photos with a friend . Thought I would share with viewers of this blog as well. These are kit- less pens made from imagination. But yet to be completed. Material : wood , brass, plastic. When I finally buy my lathe machine and summon up enough inspiration, I would complete them. Honestly, I do not know when. But the present form tends to give some idea of the shape these would take eventually. Your comments are welcome.

Original Hooded Nib Designs.

No. I do not own any of these great pens. Just sharing a photo I found in the internet. This shows the original hooded nib designs and the year these were launched. Many present day pens are modeled after these pens. Just a little bit of Information sharing for pen enthusiasts.!!!

Low cost Indian pens purchased today .

Today I made a visit to Sealdah College street area and managed to buy some excellent Indian
fountain pens at incredibly low price. Got some spare nibs too. Feeling too happy about it.
